Bubble Backgrounds 2 (with Bubbles!)

1/3 c. dish soap or baby shampoo
1-1/4 c. water
2 tsp sugar
Food coloring

Begin by putting hot water in a dish. I use a dessert dish, narrow at the bottom, wider at the top. Add sugar and make sure it dissolves. Add soap or shampoo. Add food coloring. Mix well.
Since this makes quite a bit, you can either divide into 3 parts, adding a different color to each part, or cut the recipe down to the size you want, or save the left-overs for future use.  I think it should be saved in the refrigerator because of the sugar.
Work on a paper protected surface, and wear clothes that you don't mind getting the coloring on.
Using a straw, blow bubbles into the bowl.
When the bubbles are high, carefully place your cardstock into the bubbles. No two pieces will come out the same. The largest bubbles make a more delicate pattern, almost like marbling.
The most important thing to remember is DO NOT INHALE!
You can also purchase kid's 'bubble liquid' and just add food coloring.
